Have these ready when you call
- The address, including the unit or floor if you live in a condo or apartment.
- What you see: where the water is, how fast it is moving, and whether sewage is involved.
- Whether you found and closed the main shutoff or the fixture valve.
- Which fixture or appliance is affected, such as a water heater, toilet, sink or floor drain.
- Anything unsafe: a gas smell, water near outlets, or no way to reach the shutoff.
- A callback number in case the call drops, and the best door or entrance to use.
If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 first. Then call us once you are outside and safe.

Email for non-urgent questions
A general question about services or coverage can go to the email address above. Email is not monitored like the phone line, so do not use it when water is moving.
Visiting the office
Our office is on Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill. Plumbers are dispatched to you, so call before you drive over, as the office is not a walk-in service counter.
Condos and rentals
Tenants should tell the landlord or building manager about a leak, since the shutoff may be in a shared space. Then call us with the unit number and the manager's contact if you have it.
What happens after you call
